Last Will and Testament

This is the Last Will and Testament of me,   of Ottawa in the province of Ontario.

Revocation of Previous Wills

I REVOKE all former Wills, Codicils, or other Testamentary Dispositions previously made by me and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.

Appointment of Executor

I APPOINT my husband/wife,   of Ottawa in the province of Ontario, to be the Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.

BUT IF my said Executor should refuse to act, predecease me, or die within a period of 30 days following my death, THEN I APPOINT   as Executor in their place.

Powers of Executor

I grant my Executor full and complete power to do all things necessary to carry out my wishes as set forth in this document, including the absolute power to make final decisions, settle disputes, sell assets or distribute in kind, and establish values.

Funeral & Burial Instructions

I direct that my funeral and burial be conducted in accordance with Islamic traditions. I request that OBMFO be contacted immediately to assist with Ghusl (ritual washing), Kafan (shrouding), Janazah prayer, and burial at an Islamic cemetery.

Distribution of Estate

After payment of my just debts, funeral expenses, and costs of administration, I give, devise, and bequeath all of my property — both real and personal — as follows:

• If my spouse survives me, I give my entire estate to my spouse,  .
• If my spouse does not survive me, I give my entire estate to be divided equally among my surviving children.
• If neither my spouse nor any children survive me, I direct my Executor to distribute my estate in accordance with Islamic inheritance law (Faraid).

Islamic Bequest (Wasiyya)

In accordance with Islamic law, I direct that up to one-third (1/3) of my net estate be used for   (charitable purposes, outstanding religious obligations, etc.).

Guardianship of Minor Children

If I am survived by minor children, I appoint my spouse as their Guardian. If my spouse does not survive me or is unable to act, I appoint   as Guardian.
